- About me Francisco Esteban Pérez Yoma (Santiago, January 16, 1952) is a Chilean engineer and businessman in the real estate sector, father of 6 children.
Son of Edmundo Pérez Zujovic and Lidia Yoma Amed. His father was Minister of Public Works, Minister of the Interior and Vice President of the Republic of the government of Eduardo Frei Montalva; he was the victim of a far-left terrorist attack in 1971.
The Pérez Yoma couple had nine children, one of them Edmundo Pérez Yoma, who was a minister in the governments of Eduardo Frei Ruiz-Tagle and Michelle Bachelet Jeria.
Francisco Pérez Yoma studied at Saint George’s College and the University of Chile, where he graduated as a Civil Engineer.
He has investments in different regions of the United States. He participates in the hotel, housing real estate development, office, and housing real estate rental sectors, and owns an agricultural and livestock operation.
As a sailing sports fan, he has stood out as a representative of Chile in different international competitions. He attended the Seoul Olympics as captain of the sailing team and won a gold medal at the 1990 Odesur Games in Peru in the lightning class, among other achievements.
